Volunteer Training at FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care

FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care welcomes all community members to come help make a difference with the volunteer team by registering for the upcoming FAIRHOPE Hospice Volunteer Training Class series that starts Wednesday, June 21st. Classes will be held every Wednesday for six weeks at the FAIRHOPE Pickering House location, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.

For more information about volunteering or to register for training, call Twylia Summers, Volunteer Manager, at (740) 475-0657.

Volunteers participate in rewarding experiences through opportunities in patient companionship, clerical duties, fundraising events and community outreach.

“We are tremendously thankful for our volunteers who dedicate their time to make a lasting impact on our patients, their families and our staff,” said Kristin Glasure, FAIRHOPE President/CEO. “Volunteers gain great experience in a variety of healthcare and hospice roles, and I encourage everyone to join our FAIRHOPE family.”
