Treehouse on the Lancaster Bike Path

Have you been inside the two-story treehouse on the Lancaster Bike Path? It’s an adventure worth having with your littles! The Lancaster Bike Path is a 9.5 mile paved path that almost completely circles the City of Lancaster, Ohio. This well-tended route passes through parks, along waterways and features interactive fun for all. The Path is our walking, running, biking, skating and ‘get out in nature’ place, available to all.

The treehouse is part of the Fairfield County Park District’s Sensory Trail Park which features nature stations, outdoor musical instruments, swing set, and picnic shelter – all wheelchair-accessible –  is at the head of the path’s starting point behind Forest Rose School near the Ohio University Lancaster campus on Granville Pike. See our photo gallery of the tree house below, download the Bike Path Map and, for a complete description of the Bike Path, visit the Visit Fairfield County website!
