OESCA Recognizes Angela Krile and Rick Szabrak for Leadership Roles

The Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA) granted two accolades during their recognition program on Monday, November 13, 2023. The recipients, both Fairfield County residents, were nominated by the Fairfield County Education Service Center (ESC) for their exceptional service and collaboration.

Rick Szabrak, Fairfield County Director of Economic and Workforce Development, received the Outstanding Leadership – Community Award for his continued commitment to the ESC Business Advisory Council, serving his second term as president and in his long-standing association since its inception. Rick’s membership has influenced multiple career and workforce achievements for the ESC Success Center and local schools through community-focused initiatives that brought positive change to educational services.

Angela Krile, CEO of Krile Communications, was also honored for her valuable contributions to ESC in her acceptance of the Torch Award. Through a strategic and supportive partnership, Angela and her team have elevated the ESC’s work with their community partners and eight local school districts to achieve student intervention and stability to foster successful outcomes.

The 37th awards and recognition program recognizes outstanding educational service center (ESC) and school district board members and community leaders. Over the
past 37 years, OESCA has recognized more than 1,280 board members, educators, and community leaders.

“We are delighted to commend two extraordinary leaders in our community,” said Marie Ward, Fairfield County ESC Superintendent. “It is with their dedication and belief in our mission that we are able to deliver student excellence and open pathways for promising futures.”

Ohio’s educational service centers (ESCs) provide school districts with professional development, technology, support, planning, and administrative services that help improve student learning, enhance the quality of instruction, expand access to resources, and maximize operating/fiscal efficiencies. The Ohio ESC Association (OESCA) supports, educates and advocates for Ohio’s ESCs.

The Fairfield County Educational Service Center provides student-centered educational leadership and supportive services to meet the individual and collective needs of the staff, students and boards of education of the eight local school districts located in Fairfield County.
