NEW! Visit Fairfield County Visitor Guide Available Now

Filled with fun events and local businesses to check out, Visit Fairfield County’s 2024 Destination Guide is available now at the visitor center in downtown Lancaster just in time for the kick off of the summer travel season.

The Destination Guide features 24 pages of information regarding attractions, events, restaurants, shops, museums, lodging, and more around the area. Readers can enjoy an article about Lancaster’s recent designation as a “Best Hometown” by Ohio Magazine, or take an interactive quiz to determine which of Visit Fairfield County’s themed trails is a match for them! The guide is a fun, educational, and inspirational resource for anyone interested in Fairfield County and all that it offers year-round.

The 2024 Destination Guide cover features two talented stilt walkers during Destination Downtown Lancaster’s annual ArtWalk. Taken by Reine Down Photography, the cover was chosen by Visit Fairfield County staff to highlight a signature, “Best Hometown” event that captures the essence of the community’s artistic and eccentric spirit.

To get your copy of the brand new 2024 Destination Guide, visit the Visit Fairfield County Visitor Center at 128 N. Broad Street in downtown Lancaster between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. A digital version of the guide is also available on, or you may call the visitor center (740) 654-5929 for a guide to be mailed to you.
