DEA National RX Take Back Day

April 27 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Turn in unneeded medication for safe disposal on
Saturday, April 27th from 10am – 2pm
The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Fairfield County Soil and Water Conservation, The City of Canal Winchester, Diley Ridge Medical Center, and Walnut Township Fire Department
will be participating in the DEA National RX Take Back Day.

Electronics recycling will be available at the Walnut Township Fire Department throughout the event.
*The DEA and it’s partners will collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other forms of prescription drugs. Collection sites will not accept syringes, sharps, or illicit drugs. Liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain tightly sealed in their original container. The event will accept vaping devices and cartridges provided lithium batteries are removed.
** Disposal fees may apply for certain items, such as televisions ($1 per diagonal inch) and computer monitors ($5 each). Only cash or checks will be accepted. No credit cards.
