Give a Summerful of Bouquets for Valentine’s Day

Down the Road Farm Offers Bouquet Subscription with Summer Pick-Up Locations in Perry and Fairfield Counties

Down the Road Farm is our sustainability-focused flower farm in New Lexington, Ohio. We love being a part of the Lancaster Farmers Market from the first Saturday in May through the first Saturday in October. We’re excited to share our eco-friendly gift of a summer flower subscription so you can surprise and delight your loved one this Valentine’s Day!

Membership sign-ups are now open for Down the Road Farm’s 2024 Flower Bouquet Subscription!

Your gift subscription includes one-of-a-kind, seasonal flower bouquets with four pick-up locations in Fairfield and Perry County. If you sign up by February 7, 2024 you’ll receive Early Bird discounts and bonus gifts.

You can sign up for 7 to 15 weekly bouquets of fresh flowers. You’ll choose your bouquet size, season length (June – July; June – September, or August – September) and your pick-up location (see below). All subscription members also get text message reminders and an exclusive members-only newsletter which will help them get to know the farm and their flowers better.

Please note: This Down the Road Subscription Gift does not include flowers for gifting on Valentine’s Day. The Down the Road summer subscription is an eco-friendly, sustainable way to share your love by providing flowers ‘in season’ rather than shipped from other places and refrigerated to meet the February holiday.

Subscribers will pick up their flowers each Saturday during the summer from one of four Perry and Fairfield County locations. The farm also offers free local subscription delivery to groups of 4 or more in New Lexington.

About Us
Established in 2013, Down the Road Farm is a sustainably-managed specialty cut flower farm in the wooded hills of New Lexington, spreading joy through beautiful, high-quality, locally grown blooms and bouquets to market, subscription, and other customers in Lancaster and southeast Ohio. My partner Zachary Schultheis and I grow more than 50 kinds of annual and perennial flowers, grasses, and foliage, including lisianthus, sunflowers, snapdragons, zinnias, and rudbeckia.

We think celebrating Valentine’s Day in February in Ohio with fresh flowers just doesn’t make much ecological sense. A local flower subscription makes a great alternative to long-distance flowers. Yes, it requires more patience and a break with tradition, but you, your sweetheart, and the environment are getting a way better deal. It’s a Valentine’s Day match made in heaven!
