FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. will host its annual Trash to Treasure Sale on Friday, June 7, and Saturday, June 8 held at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds to benefit the FAIRHOPE Hospice Memorial Fund. One of our favorite discoveries is lunchtime at El Parian – Steaks & Tequila restaurant in downtown Lancaster, Ohio. We’re not sure how they pull it off but the Special Carne Asada features a flavorful steak grilled to your temp on a beautiful wood platter with fresh, bright pico de gallo, jalapeños, savory caramelized onions, sliced avocado, creamy beans with cheese and three soft tortillas for making the most delicious soft tacos around. They discuss their upcoming performance, “The Savannah Sipping Society,” May 17th-19th on the 3rd floor of the Fairfield Co District Library. Cathy talks about directing and gives an overview of the play, while Penny talks about making her debut in the Garret Players, going right into her first performance with the group. Later, Fairfield Co ADAMH Public Relations Director Jackie Howard stops by to promote their Annual Dinner and Fundraising Event held at the Wigwam Center on May 21st.
